Shrimp Journal- Berries everywhere- New Crystal and Velvet Shrimp

Scott and I took a trip to Boise to see his Mom today. Going to Boise for me means I get to visit with other shrimpers, and hit up the local fish store. So glad I got to go today.

Shrimp Journal- Shrimp room tanks updates with Video

New post on the new blog!! We plan on starting doing homesteading stuff again on the homestead in the spring, chickens, garden, calves and such. I'll start updating that blog again, so I started one just for shrimp. Taddaa!!

Did a little bit of tank maintenance today. Mostly pulling out some overgrown moss and throwing it in the new tanks. Pulled the sponges off the filter in the big tank in the living room and swapped them out with one of the new tanks. Took off the sponge pre-filter in the big tank and squeezed it out in the new tanks to help the beneficial bacteria get started colonizing the new sponge filters.

Shrimp Journal- Great Blue Dream pics finally

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the H2O2 treatments is working on whatever was affecting my shrimp. I've done water changes on all the problem tanks, bringing down the TDS and GH to the minimum acceptable levels. The berried titibee is still berried and her eggs nice and tight, but her tank wasn't giving me any issues. I do have a mustard green berried in the yellows tank, and after weeks of waiting, two berried aura blues again.

Shrimp Journal- My first berried Caridina shrimp

It's Christmas day. I've got my first berried shrimp in caridina tank four. That's the titibees/red safari culls/crs/cbs tank. It's one of the ttb's. I've seen the boys get the zoomies three times now, and this is the first berried female I've seen.
